Drawing design references from historical Swedish chandeliers, the Lilio reimagines space for candles with a series of diminutive, moulded abaca fibre shades. At its centre, is a sculptural segment made from turned solid oak, which supports 10 curved bronze stems that hold a shade at the end of each. Designed to offer full theatricality, the Lilio’s multidimensional form combines contrasting materiality that is accentuated when illuminated, inviting shadow play with its striking silhouette.
